Holy Door opens in Quebec -
the first outside of Europe
At Quebec City's Notre-Dame Quebec basilica. The door opened on Dec. 8 this is a ceremony that dates back to Rome in the 1400s, but has never until now taken place outside of Europe. Next year Notre-Dame will celebrate it's 350th anniversary.
